Microsoft hires Charlie Bell, former Amazon cloud exec

Microsoft has hired Amazon cloud executive Charlie Bell as a corporate vice president, CNBC has verified.

The transfer signifies a victory for Microsoft, whose Azure cloud company is trying to consider share from market-main Amazon Net Products and services.

Bell was thought of a prospect to develop into head of AWS at the time Amazon chose Andy Jassy, the AWS CEO, to guide all of Amazon. Bell belonged to Amazon’s S-staff of best leaders, and his responsibilities as a senior vice president integrated pricing, program enhancement company operations and money final results, CNBC reported earlier this month as Bell still left Amazon.
